Serena Finke Piano Lessons

Hello,

My name is Serena and I just moved to the area and lost my old students in the process. I love to work with intermediate and advanced students. I have studied music for fifteen years and studied it in college for three years. A year and a half ago I injured my hand to the extent that I couldn't play the piano for about six months. I can now play a little bit but still do not have full mobility in my hand. Because of this, I can still teach but cannot play as well as I used to. During lessons, I like to challenge students with things they are weak in so they can become a well rounded and self disciplined musician. I expect half an hour of practice six days a week from beginning students and more from intermediate and advanced students as I see fit. I think that every person learns differently so I tailor each lesson to the individual. Please contact me with any inquiries you may have.
