Powell Academy Of Music

The Powell Academy of Music is one of the largest and fastest growing music schools in the state of Ohio. Our goal is to foster confidence and creativity in students of all ages through exceptional music education. With our world-class music teachers, innovative musical ladder system and top-notch facility, we help students to develop a life-long skill and passion for music. Since we opened our doors in 2006 we have taught over 1,200 students. Located in the heart of Powell, Ohio, we are only minutes away from students in Powell, Dublin and Lewis Center.

Our music lessons instructors includes decorated recitalists, nationally recognized composers, including members of the Columbus Symphony and many of Columbus’s top performers. Our teachers have received their education from prestigious institutions such as the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, The Berklee College of Music, Oberlin College and Conservatory, The Ohio State University, Capital University and many others.

In additional to their teacher credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and strive to get to know each student and their parent on a personal level.

We have 19 private music lesson studios as well as a large group class room. In addition to our studios, we are the only school in Powell, OH that has two waiting rooms, a playroom for small children, a free arcade game and a vending machine. We also have a TV in one of our waiting rooms to help entertain small children while they wait for older siblings to take their lessons. If you have work to do enjoy our quiet front waiting room and free Wi-Fi. Or if you prefer you can sit in on your child’s music lessons anytime you like.
