We are the oldest and finest private school of music in Cincinnati. We began operations in1974. All of our teahers are experienced and have college degrees. We work with young children through adults. Please call to set up a free introductory lesson.
The Toedtman School of Music provides instruction to people of all ages and talents. If your desire is to make a career of music or if you are interested in music for enjoyment and relaxation, we have the team to help you. Our experienced music and voice instructors are some of the best available.
The Toedtman School of Music, currently located in Cincinnati Ohio’s suburb of Sharonville, was founded by Melissa and John Toedtman in the Spring of 1974.
By 1982 the School had outgrown its home on Laurel Avenue in Madeira Ohio. The School moved to a new location in Montgomery, the historic Blair House on Remington Road.
In 1985, after more growth, another move was made to the magnificent Hauck family summer estate at 12171 Mosteller Road in northern Sharonville.
Currently the Toedtman School of Music is conveniently located just north of I-275 in Sharonville, Ohio, at 3660 Hauck Road. From our centrally located facility we service the entire Greater Cincinnati area.

The mission of the Toedtman School of Music is to provide an environment of cultural diversity to enrich the lives of our family of students through musical growth, development, and appreciation.
The Toedtman School of Music setting provides a structured, professional, and dignified atmosphere which conveys the importance and discipline of music in the growth of every individual regardless of one’s age.
Our body of students range in age from 2 to 80 years of age. We have collectively many different countries of origin represented in our pupils, including Belgium, Brazil, China, El Salvador, France, Germany, Ghana, Guatemala, Guyana, Holland, India, Iran, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, Russia, Serbia, Sweden, Vietnam, and Venezuela, all coming together for one common purpose, MUSIC.
