Guitar Techniques:
Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Fingerstyle, Reading Music, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises
Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following:
Ask the student if he knows how to read music. If they do not read any music, it is introduced in the first lesson as the student learns how to read music and where the notes are played on the guitar. Note reading starts with the first string and continues each lesson at the student's pace of learning.
A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:
Learning the parts of the guitar and what the student needs to know to begin lessons.
The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:
Someone who is willing to learn and motivated enough to set aside a time for practice each day.
