I begin playing the trumpet in the fifth grade through half of college. I have written music and took piano lessons briefly at a very young age. I basically taught myself how to play the piano. I can do the same thing for anybody who is willing to practice the techniques I provide to them.

In short, my lessons teach you where to put your fingers on the keyboard to play the melody together with a four note harmony (chords) in the easiest key on the piano, “C”. 

This is a step by step process requiring mastery of the melody with the right hand. Then the chords are mastered in the following manner: One note, two note, three note and four note harmony. Each step must be mastered before proceeding to the next one.

My favorite types of students are those who have never had a piano lesson. However, I will teach anybody willing to give it a try. The only real major investment is your time and effort.

This is actually an on going process, not a single event. Losing the masks so people can GO to events! Otherwise, I like all kinds of music that resonate with me, especially jazz, blues, and boogie.

Get the biggest bang for your buck. An average music lesson can cost $25 for a 30 minute session. Even after four such lessons, you may not even be close to playing a song you actually like. You can learn conventional lessons from anybody you want. However, it never hurts to take a break and learn a fun song you can share with other people. I can help you with that.
