Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If you want to take music lessons, that’s fine. Lots of people do it. But lot’s of people quit too. Know why? Because taking music lessons is not only expensive, it can get to be a real drag; especially if you have to drive to them or make appointments at your house to take them at the convenience of the music teacher.
I teach fun songs you can learn online right from the comfort of your own home or anywhere else! The song IS the lesson, and right now they're 50% off the regular price. You make a one time purchase for access to three video modules. You can learn at your own pace with no time limits. Not only that, you can try out a micro lesson of your choice for free!
But hey, don’t worry! You can still take those music lessons too! Perhaps you'll even learn a song after say three or four lessons. Cha Ching! Hope it’s one you like!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I begin playing the trumpet in the fifth grade through half of college. I have written music and took piano lessons briefly at a very young age. I basically taught myself how to play the piano. I can do the same thing for anybody who is willing to practice the techniques I provide to them.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?
I started my program from scratch in 2021. It is so unique, it has a patent pending on it!
In short, my lessons teach you where to put your fingers on the keyboard to play the melody together with a four note harmony (chords) in the easiest key on the piano, “C”.
This is a step by step process requiring mastery of the melody with the right hand. Then the chords are mastered in the following manner: One note, two note, three note and four note harmony. Each step must be mastered before proceeding to the next one.
What types of students have you worked with?
My favorite types of students are those who have never had a piano lesson. However, I will teach anybody willing to give it a try. The only real major investment is your time and effort.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
This is actually an on going process, not a single event. Losing the masks so people can GO to events! Otherwise, I like all kinds of music that resonate with me, especially jazz, blues, and boogie.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Get the biggest bang for your buck. An average music lesson can cost $25 for a 30 minute session. Even after four such lessons, you may not even be close to playing a song you actually like. My song lessons are currently 50% off. Learning one song may be less than the average price of a single conventional music lesson!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
You can learn conventional lessons from anybody you want. However, it never hurts to take a break and learn a fun song you can share with other people. I can help you with that.
