Ive recorded with him numerous times and the reaction in the studio control room when hes tracking sax or piano is always giddy, jaw‐dropping amazement at his virtuosity and good taste. Hes created arrangements for my compositions that make me look like a whiz; I gotta give credit where its due! A day spent in his company is a lucky day for any musician whether at a gig or in a studio or classroom.

I took saxophone lessons from Randy for a year before returning to college to complete my bachelor degree in music at the University of Cincinnati College‐Conservatory of Music. Randy was very helpful to me in preparing for my audition. Randy’s ability to play piano so well along with woodwind instruments really adds to his teaching capabilities. He is able to provide the visual aid of the keyboard to enhance lessons with his students.
