I listen to the student's goals first, as well as get a feel for how they learn best. From there I develop a program that takes the student step by step to the level where they can play the songs/pieces they want. I also am very flexible with scheduling, as well as payment

I love seeing students progress and seeing the joy on their faces when they're finally able to play something they love and enjoy, or just conquering a hard piece. I also get satisfaction when they correct themselves and they develop smart practice habits
