What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically acess the student/students to make sure they understand what class they are taking. I take yoga very seriously when it comes down to injuries and being aware of the body.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified 200 hr yoga teacher in addition to that own a seperate certification for kids yoga.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I offer a free class for new students and then they have an option to buy a package or yearly pass.
How did you get started teaching?
I've suffered with epilepsy since the age of 10. As I got older it had gotten considerable worse and with age it had taken a toll and medication was the only thing that would stabalize the seizures. I needed a way to relieve the stress and pressure the side effects were weighing on me. I turned to yoga. Years later after the significant results with meditation and certain yoga postures my path led me to a teacher training. I've been seizure free for 9yrs and my dosages of medication have been decreased. The science of yoga was experimental for me and I'm glad I took this path.
