My name is Sydney. I have been practicing yoga for almost 10 years, after finding yoga due to a hiking injury. I ultimately stuck with yoga as a way to navigate depression and anxiety, and some mental trauma that came from damaging relationships. And I am currently a 200 Hour RYT.

Deepening my yoga practice aids in growing my truest connection to myself and the world as it is around me. My experiences guide me in designing yoga classes inspired by the patient sensuality of nature, conscious breath work, and the recognition of each student's magic.

Thoughtful with every action, I enjoy weaving silliness and play throughout all of life's experiences, including yoga. My friends define me as natural and quirky. My life is punctuated by randomness, but written with the pure intention of serenity.

I've creating Sharing Calm Yoga as a home for you to uncover your true nature. This is not a place of perfection, but a place to allow you to leak your truth as a way to level out and discover balance. Calm looks different for everyone. We take the mellow path. What is, is what is. We are here right now for a reason. You were brought directly to this moment.

    We start with a 15 minute virtual consultation to discuss where you are right now and where you want to be. This helps me to understand what it is you're hoping yoga will bring to your life and will help me when planning our lessons.

    From there, I'll give you your options in terms of pricing and scheduling, and we will begin as soon as you're ready.

    200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher. Wilderness First Responder / CPR & First Aid.

    $50 / one 1-hour session.

    $400 / ten 1-hour session.

    First one-hour session for only $20.

    I have been practicing yoga for almost ten years now, about three years ago it turned into a primary part of my everyday life, so becoming a yoga teacher was a beautifully inevitable thing that happened in the summer of 2020.

    Men and women between the ages of 26 and 75. Complete beginner yoga students - intermediate level. I teach primarily slow flow vinyasa and restorative yoga combines with breath practice and practical philosophical topics to apply to your life. Our practices are a personally curated full experience to envelop you in the exact recipe for balance that you need. This is something anyone can enjoy and benefit from. 

    I'm fond of the tiniest event such as how perfectly sunny it was today. Little things. I love it all.

    My advice is to a student looking for a yoga teacher is to find someone whose words speak to you on a full way. Like they couldn't have been written for anybody but you. And if you're unsure, talk to them. See if it resonates. There's so much to learn from everyone in this world, but yoga teachers have a special way of knowing how to move you to be the most physically receptive to your emotional needs.
