About
I have played guitar for over 50 years. I halve taught guitar over last 10 years to dozens of people people aged 10 to 70. I tailor my teaching to fit each individual's needs and wants. I teach people under 55 at the Delaware (Oh) cutural arts center at $23 per half hour. I have an intermediate jam for people over 55 for $30 for 3 months of group lessons on Tuesdays from 5 pm to 6:30 PM at the Blend of Seven Winery in Delaware. I can teach beginner or intermediate players chords, strumming, fingerpicking, note reading, and rock/blues/country lead guitar. References are available at either the cultural arts center (Diane Hodges) or Sourcepoint (Marilyn Clark).
I love seeing people have fun learning about the guitar and enjoying a lifelong hobby. I like the"aha" moments when they reach a new level in their understanding and playing ability.
