About

Our programs are performance based. We train the individual to progressively apply his skills in a realistic and uncontrolled environment.

Athletic development, functionality and practical application is our goal. Can you make it work in "real time" with an un-cooperative and resisting opponent?

Adaptability in all ranges of combat is an essential part of the training. After the fundamentals have been properly absorbed, trainees will learn important aspects of each fighting range, and how to develop their own methods of application against a resisting opponent.

Enhancing performance and developing skills to higher levels are the main purposes of the class. In our training there are no rituals, no titles, no Masters, no belts and no formalities.

We train in a friendly but intense environment, and everyone works as a team with the purpose of furthering their skills.

So, leave your Ego at the door.

Our training methods are derived from several sources including, Muay Thai(Thai Boxing), Muay Boran(Old Style Thai Boxing),Western Boxing, Filipino Eskrima, Chinese Arts, Southeast Asian arts, and Grappling concepts. Our goal is to adapt and make it all work together and instinctively. Trainees are encouraged, and have the freedom to experiment and use what will work for them in a combative situation.

Fundamentals in body mechanics, footwork, and proper usage of each body weapons are stressed in training. As the student progresses, training intensity will gradually be increased so that the material can be properly applied against different opponents.

We are constantly evolving and presenting new methods of development to the student.

Our Chief instructor started his Martial Arts training 37 years ago. He has been continually studying ever since, and has done extensive research and training in Thailand, China, Taiwan , Ukraine and other parts of the world. Coach Soto specializes in developing relaxed power through proper development of body mechanics, and has studied several martial art disciplines including: “Old Style” Muay Thai Chaiya and Lopburi, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Western Boxing, Bagua Zhang, Baji Quan, Filipino empty hands/weaponry, and other Chinese, Japanese, Southeast-Asian, and Cossack styles. Decades of coaching different body styles, ages, and personality types have given him the needed experience to develop a highly effective, non-intimidating, and incremental training system. This unique approach enables his students to get fast results and more enjoyment out of their training. Along with these modern changes and improvements, he continues to implement the time-honored techniques of centuries past. This combination of innovation, history, and experience ensures his students continued success.

Mike Soto is a great teacher. He teaches me martial arts. He is thoughtful, giving, devoted, and generous.
I respect him. He is my teacher. I strongly recommend students follow him.
It seems some imposter who used my name to make a 2 star rating on Mikes webpage. It was malicious. I have to make a statement here now. That I never did that.
