What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I will contact you via email to learn more about your goals and needs so that I can create an individualized plan for helping you achieve your goals. 

For Dance Students: After we have discussed what style of dancing you would like to start with we jump right into learning. My approach involves training the body to have the strength and flexiblity to achieve proper technique, how to communicate through the body effectively with a partner, and learning routines that you can take out onto the dance floor.

For Yoga Asana and Yoga Therapy Students: Private sessions are tailored to what is showing up in your body and how we can work with your specific goals to bring your mind, body, and spirit into a greater sense of ease, safety, and balance. Depending on your intentions we may work more on physical postures, yogic breathing, or meditation and energy awareness. Yoga Therapy sessions can involve assisted postures with guided internal awarness techniques to unravel and release pain, stress, and trauma.

Intuitive Healing Students: These sessions can be done in person or via phone or skype. Through the process of guided energy awareness I help you to unlock the blocks that may have been keeping you feeling stuck, defeated, angry, or depressed. I read your energy body and teach you specific energy tools to shift what is no longer serving your life and how you want to live it. Each session is a unique safe space to discover your own healing power and intuitive gifts. All forms of spirituality are welcome and honored.
