What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First class at Santosha Yoga is FREE. Come in a few minutes early to fill out a consent form, meet your teacher and get a short tour of the studio. Make yourself at home and have a beautiful practice!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All teachers at Santosha are Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructors.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?
I have practiced for over 20 years. I have been teaching yoga for 9. I am certified at the ERYT 500 level. I offer a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Santosha Yoga as well.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages, all levels; young children, power yogis, seniors in chair yoga classes.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Leading the final yoga retreat for the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training where 10 new yoga teachers graduated. They are amazing humans with special gifts to share through their yoga teaching!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a certified yoga teacher whose style and philosophy resonate with you.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are your goals in starting/deepening a yoga practice? What aspects of the practice are you most interested in; Asana (physical postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques), Dharana/Dhyana (concentration/meditation), Yoga Philosophy?
Do you require a yoga teacher with special training, i.e. prenatal, yin, Yoga Tune-Up, senior yoga etc.
