Jerry inspired me to start painting and became my mentor. He has taught me valuable skills that I routinely use. For example, he taught me how to transform a complicated landscape into a manageable painting by using the layer by layer Macchia technique. Jerry has also taught me how to transform a realistic picture into an impressionist style painting. He brings a balance between realism and impressionism. I am in awe of his talent and knowledge and I highly recommend him as an outstanding teacher and mentor.
