What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I’ll start with a friendly chat to learn more about you, your experience, and interests. Once I understand your unique needs, I'll create tailored lesson plans based on your specific goals and interests.
Together, we build upon the foundation of a solid technique and a cohesive approach to studying all aspects of music that sets you on a path of fun and learning for life.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Music degree from Portland State University studying under Bryan Johanson as well as 1.5 years studying under Adam Holzman at the University of Texas at Austin.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons are weekly or bimonthly paid at the beginning of each month. Lessons are $65 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I love working with people to expand their experiences that gives them a life filled with music and possibility.

I have worked with complete beginners all the way to advanced students.
