I love music! It is a true joy! And learning music should be a joy as well.
Yes, I teach how to play an instrument. But we also learn about the instrument, how to understand and compose music, and how to have fun while working hard.
I have been playing piano and flute for over 35 years. I have a degree in Education with a minor in music and have been teaching private lessons for over 12 years.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Please contact me through my website or call me directly.
New students can download and read through my studio policies, fill out an information form and a student agreement form. Available for a Free pre-lesson interview.
I charge an annual music fee and purchase all the books and materials that the student will need, so the parents do not need to worry about a trip to the music store.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education with a minor in Music.
I have been a musician for over 35 years. Not only playing, but arranging music for church, weddings, and various ensembles of instruments.
I currently teach Band and group piano classes as Alliance Charter Academy in Oregon City.

Lessons are $22 each for weekly 30 minutes lessons. 45 & 60 minutes lessons available as well.
Discounts for families with 3+ children.
