Mallory Dudley

About

Hello and welcome! My name is Mallory, and I'm excited to be back in my hometown of Tacoma, WA. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Piano from Western Washington University and have over 20 years of playing experience, including more than 7 years of teaching experience.

I believe music is a powerful way to build connection and community—something that can sometimes get lost in traditional classical piano training. My goal is to help each student find a meaningful connection to the piano, inspiring them with music that excites and motivates them to play.

In lessons, I blend traditional techniques with a creative approach, incorporating both sheet music reading, music theory foundations, playing by ear, songwriting, and improvising. This well-rounded approach enables me to tailor lessons to each student’s learning style and individual goals.

At the moment, I don’t have a studio space, so I offer in-home lessons or virtual sessions via Zoom.
