I love teaching and have taught all levels of students from their first note at the piano, to assisting students in receiving full scholarships to fine music schools - Juilliard, Oberlin, Carnegie Mellon, USC.
My approach is to assist students in actualizing their musical abilities based on their wishes and goals, using whatever genre of music they like and are motivated to learn, whether they want to play for the sheer love of it or to develop vocational aspirations.
Lesson content is customized and includes music theory, music history and music composition, designed to meet the needs of my students.
I host frequent “Piano Parties” so students learn to perform, make musical friends and are inspired by hearing other composers. Both lessons and Piano Parties are characterized by a fairly high quotient of laughter and fun.
