About
After studying violin, and piano in Boston, at New England Conservatory with Eric Rosenblith, chamber music with Leslie Parnas and Burton Fine, I have been fortunate to enjoy over eighteen years of teaching violin and piano students. I teach all ages, and my lessons are designed to enhance a student's life through the study of music. Music is initially provided and I strive to have the student learning enjoyable music from the first few lessons. With an emphasis on reading music and ear training, students are encouraged to develop not only their own musical talent, but to discover the joy of music.
My students have earned top positions in competitions, All State, Youth Symphonies as well as entrance into music schools, summer camps, including Peabody Summer Camp, Emory University Chamber Music, The Assisi Performing Arts Festival, Franklin Pond Summer Intensive Chamber Music camp and University of Georgia Summer program.
I enjoy helping students achieve their goals and learn more about music.
I have earned BS and MS degrees.
I teach in Lady Lake, Ocala and The Villages.
