Georg is a recognized rock guitarist, recording artist, and instructor. Georg teaches rock, blues, jazz, and classical. Students benefit from Georg's experience as a performing and recording artist. Georg has a B.A. in the humanities, from The University of Pittsburgh. I love music and I love playing guitar. I like to help guitarists reach their goals. I take pride in my accomplishments and I am pleased when my students learn. My students learn becasue I am a dedicated guitarist and teacher. I work hard to be the best guitarist that I can be, and I help my students realize their potential.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I meet students for an introductory leson. We talk about their goals. We discuss which styles of music they want to learn.
I teach students the technique, music theory, and songs that they want to learn.
Students improve their technique, music theory knowledge, song repertoire, performance skills, and versatility.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, with a major in the Humanities and a music minor. I have studied with world renown guitarists and teachers in a variety of disciplines, including classical, jazz, and rock.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge for a month's lessons in advance. I meet students for a minimum of two lessons per month. I can travel to my students, or they can travel to me. However, I charge a nominal travel fee for lessons at a student's home.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at a relatively young age. I taught students rock lead guitar technique as well as theory and performance skills. As I became more versatile, my clientele included guitarists of more diverse backgrounds and goals.
What types of students have you worked with?
Intermediate to advanced students. Styles covered include classical, rock, folk, country, blues, and jazz.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently performed solo jazz and rock guitar at a wedding, which took place at the Carnegie Museum of Art.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Shop around and ask questions. Interview your teacher so that you get the type of instruction that you want.
