What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually have them ask me any questions they have before starting. I'm very open to any questions about my experience and my teaching philosophy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree with a primary focus on Piano, and secondary focus on flute, organ, and psychology. I just completed my degree May 9, 2020.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$20per half hour lesson. $30for 45 minute lessons.$40 per hour lesson. These rates apply for both online and in person instruction for prospective new students.
How did you get started teaching?
I had one of my friends' mothers ask me to teach her youngest daughter and that's how it all began.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with kids ages 4-18 and adult students ages 19-75.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they have plenty of experience in their instrument.

They should think about their best learning style: visual, auditory, etc.
