Stephen Gallo Music Lessons
About
Hello there,
I have a degree in Guitar Performance from the Berklee College of Music, where I graduated in 2008. I taught in Massachusetts and am currently in Pittsburgh, totaling 10+ years of teaching experience.
I am offering guitar lessons in a range of styles (rock'n'roll, blues, fingerstyle folk, jazz), but have most enjoyed focusing my students on music theory.
I have even worked with non-guitar students on a number of subjects, including: ear training, building chords/scales, voice leading, and compositional analysis. I also teach bass guitar and ukulele.
I've gathered a wealth of knowledge that I know can benefit you.
I'm accepting musicians of all levels. Lessons will, of course, be tailored to each student's interests and abilities.
The lessons will either be held at my studio apartment in Lawrenceville, or online.
I charge $30/30min and $50 per 1 hour session.
As a little bonus, here's a site I've used for years and encourage my students to utilize: www.musictheory.net
---it's especially great for ear training.
Take care, play with inspiration, and have a great holiday!
