Galina Istomin, founded in 1994, is a distinguished music instructor based in Pittsburgh, PA, and the surrounding areas. Known for her private and group lessons tailored for all ages, she offers specialized teaching in violin, viola, piano, beginning cello, and string ensemble. A former recipient of the Rimsky-Korsakov Honorary Stipend, she holds a Master's degree in music from St. Petersburg Conservatory. Her notable contributions include starting the string program and Silver Strings at Ellis, as well as the Shadyside Chamber music festival.
