My goal as a piano teacher is to teach the student how to play the piano and also to have them learn a great deal about music in regards to various styles of music including classical, jazz and all the types of popular music. I believe the student needs to become a totally comprehensive musician. A musician who can play well in all styles of music; who knows his/her music theory; is technically proficient; can play solo and ensemble music equally well; can accompany other musicians and be able to compose their own music.

Teaching piano to children, young people, and adults has always been a joy in my life. It is my hope that you and your children will be culturally enriched by the beauty of music made by developing fingers on this great instrument!
