Trained teacher of 34 years, with a love for music and young people. All lessons are taught in my home and parents are welcome. Students will be given a vocal aptitude test at no cost. Individual lessons will be tailored to students meet their personal needs, voice range and level of commitment. Piano students will also be assessed before acceptance into program.
I have been drawn to music since birth. My greatest joy is sharing what I have learned over the years with young minds. I am confident that I am great teacher who will instill the love of music with your child. I make learning fun and I use my creativity to infuse techniques and strategies in to a 30 minute lesson weekly.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I meet with the prospective clients in my home. I give a general overview of strategies,techniques and materials. I give a handbook to clients and review expectations,
I give the student a free lesson and administer an interest assessment.
Finally,I talk with parents and students and share the results of the assessment. A contract is shared and signed by student and parent. Lessons are then scheduled.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 12 years of classical piano and vocal training.
I have directed and played for four churches in the area.
I am a soloist for many groups and recently began sing withDutch Fork Choral Society.
