About
Kristine Overman he's an accomplished and versatile, artist, as well as teacher. On top of her already impressive performance résumé, Kristine is one of the youngest professors of voice in the South Carolina area. She is currently professor of voice at Claflin university, and recently has made her Carnegie Hall debut. She helps students of all levels, sing and play through many styles, including classical, Broadway, and jazz.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first like to do a preliminary phone call in order to see if the student and I are compatible and I feel I could be beneficial. After that, I try to take a holistic approach to every single student, focusing on each students, individual technical issues, as well as addressing any performance anxiety that is present.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with high honors from the University of Michigan, and obtained two masters degrees from the University of Houston, one in performance, and the other in pedagogy
