About
Each student needs a curriculum that strikes a balance of maintaining their interest while challenging them to grow as musicians. Knowing a student’s strengths, areas of improvement, musical taste and goals are of utmost importance as an instructor. Being proficient with a wide variety of playing styles and genres enables me to teach the most effectively to my students.
Beginning in September 2018 and continuing to the present, I contract with the Sioux Falls School District's Community Education Center for after-school music lessons. My students ages have been anywhere from 5 to 72.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first like to get to know my student and what has motivated them to play guitar. Is it a certain band or song? A desire to express oneself? To have fun and entertain friends and family? Whatever your motivation, that is what I will cater towards.
