About
Rick has been teaching/performing for over 4 decades. Born and raised in Memphis Tn, he began his professional career at the age of 17 performing at Libertyland, a local theme park. After studying Recording Engineering at Memphis State, he toured all of Europe and the Mediterranean with the USO, performing for the Air Force men and women overseas. Having shared the stage with greats such as Carla Thomas, REM and Al Green, Rick has an extensive performance background. As a proficient drummer, guitarist, bassist, and keyboardist, he is now focusing his energy and passion on his students, ensuring they build a solid foundation on their instrument of choice and prepare for a career in the music industry if they so desire.
