I’ve been singing professionally for 17yrs and have had a very successful career for 10yrs as a background singer. I’ve sang for Jlo,Ciara,Monica,Kendrick Lamar,Maren Morris,Raphael Saadiq,Ella Mai and more! I have acquired on-the-job training and skills that I am so eager to pass along. When a student understands how the body connects with the vocal instrument, amazing results happen. I want students to achieve their goals and dreams. I care if they make their audition or sign a record deal. What I enjoy the most is when a student calls and says, "Ms. Newberry, I got the singing or acting part or I will make my debut with the Metropolitan Opera or I just won a Grammy!" That is so fulfilling.
