About

I picked up my first guitar and began to learn when I was 12 years. I was horrible. I didn't understand how the guitar worked and so I quickly became frustrated and almost gave up more than a few times.

Through lots of hard work and a really good teacher I got over the beginner's hump and began to realize just how fun and useful learning the guitar can be.

I now serve as a part-time worship leader for the Chattanooga Fellows program and am always striving to learn more about the instrument I love.

I love sharing my passion for guitar with others. As someone who has little natural musical ability, its been a pleasure to teach people that with hard work and consistent practice, anyone can learn the guitar!

That depends on their skill level and style! Getting a solid yet functional foundation in place is so important for new students. By learning basic chord shapes early, students are all able to lay that solid foundation while still learning how to play a huge number of songs.

I have been playing guitar for more than 10 years now and have led worship for the last 3 years. I specialize in teaching beginners the basic chord patterns and teach more intermediate players complex fingerpicking styles.

I change $25 dollars per 30min lesson or $40 dollars per hour lesson.

I started out by teaching some of my friends for free, as I got more comfortable in the teaching role, I began reaching out to students I didn't already know.

Mostly beginners! I love teaching the beginning and intermediate levels of acoustic guitar.

Find someone who compliments your personality well. If you tend to find it hard to practice, find a teacher who is regimented and motivating. If you feel stuck in a particular style, find someone who is going to push you outside your comfort zone!
