What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to have a meeting with the student to assess where they are and to discuss their personal goal. Going through this process helps me mold the lessons to fit each student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in piano performance from Ouachita Baptist University. I've also completed one semester of graduate courses in piano pedagogy. Additionally, I've taught piano lessons for about 15 years.
