James Walsh is a Music Teacher, innovator and instructor in Music, the Arts and Technology. In the 1990’s, James’ insights were fundamental in the development of the iMac gumdrop, the Peavey Wolfgang Guitar and the Peavey Wolfgang Special. James also teaches Voice, Piano, Drums, Acoustic Guitar; Electric Guitar, Music Theory, and Recording Software. In addition he does Life Coaching. James studied at The Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California.
He holds a Counseling degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and James uses Jungian principles to teach students and clients elements of leadership, life strategies and how to overcome personal obstacles to success.
James is co-founder of Singer Songwriter music and recording act, Bristol Kids, with his wife, Keri. Currently, James is working on new songs for Bristol Kids.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Student are given exactly what the need each week when they are enrolled in a online class. I tailor the lesson plan to their specific requirements. This assures a level of confidence and progress that is high. I use a holistic approach that is easy and straight forward and down to earth.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Standard Lesson plan is 5 lessons at 60 dollars an hour. This is an already discounted rate saving students both time and money. Most students can get what they need in 5 lessons since we cover a lot of ground. Many return for more and enjoy the experience of taking a 2nd class with me. For instance, a 10 Week Lesson Plan is offered on the Vocal Power Method. And harmony singing in a group. Lead Vocals. Background singing and how to put an Audition Reel together is covered.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching as a a way to help others. I noticed my friends were coming to me for tech support on Mac and PC computers in 1998 and enjoyed helping them. About 2010 I began teaching online and have enjoyed sharing knowledge ever since.

Students from all over North America and as far away as Austraila and the UK.
