About this pro

We are a full service School of Fine Arts.  We offer not just lessons but the opportunity for students to perform and reach the goals they desire to reach.  They can cross over from one Academy to the next at no extra cost.

Our Academies are: Music, Theater, Dance, and Visual Arts.

We have at least 4 performance events a year and often more than 10 events.  We have 9 teachers with experience in many fields of expertise.  Over 50 years of teaching experience.

We also have several get togethers where our students can meet other students and build a community of learning.

We teacher the following subjects:

Piano, Guitar, Voice, Drums, Saxophone, Low Brass, Cello, Acting, Song Writing, Script writing, Directing, Audition Prep, Theater, Videography, Photography, Sewing, Costume Design, Beginner Fashion, Dance, and much more.

I tell everyone my enjoyment comes when I see the look on my student's faces when they finally "GET IT".  There is always that time when the lessons finally click for a student.  I live for those times.

We have been established for over 6 years here in the Clarksville Area.  We have taught over 1600 students in the past 6 years.

All of our teachers are ASOFA Verified Safe Partners meaning they have been background checked and Referral Checked.  We came in 2nd place in 2018 Readers Choice Awards for best Musical Instruction.

All 3 of my kids have fun at their lessons. It is not a chore to get them to practice because they get to play music they like. We have been to multiple teachers (due to the military) and by far this one has been the best for them.

Our piano teacher was amazing! Gabe has the ability to connect with the students from young children to adults. He is very warm and caring, but pushed my daughter to do great things!!

CPS has done an outstanding job of teaching our daughter voice, piano and guitar. They also provide many opportunities for students to perform.

My daughter has been taking vocal lessons and piano with Gabriel Huff for 5 years. He patient with her and has given her a solid foundation to go furthur with her music. He is awesome! I highly recommend him for anyone that is looking for music lessons.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

When beginning with a new student I always start with an assessment.  I want to know what the student is capable of, what they may have learned in the past and what there goals are for learning.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have played and taught both as a novice as well as professionally for over 30 years.  I was a Music Major in College as well as a double major in education and Youth ministry.

I have taken both traditional as well as non traditional lessons throughout the last 30 years and continue my education in various fields.

Currently I am also an Instructor's Teacher.  I teach instructors on how to better their teaching methods.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Make sure that the teacher is not only capable to teach at the level you are learning but even more so make sure they have been Verified as a safe teacher.

Myself and my teachers are Verified Safe Partners with the American School of Fine Arts.  This is an organization created by both instructors and parents which certifies teachers to ensure they adhere to a common set of standards and codes of ethics.  They also background and referral check their VERIFIED SAFE Members and Partners.
