About
I have been teaching people how to play music for over 20 years. My specialties are piano and keyboards. I also teach flute, saxophone and music theory. You can take lessons at my studio or on line.
I have a Masters degree in Music Composition and Theory from the University of Memphis, and I currently conduct after school music programs at the University of Memphis Campus School, CTK Lutheran School in Memphis and Incarnation Catholic School in Collierville.
I currently lead my own jazz trio and have also performed in local RnB, rock, blues, reggae and jam bands.
I truly enjoy teaching people how to play music at any skill level or age. Working on lessons together is almost always an enjoyable experience, and its great to see people make progress on their instrument and then go out there and perform for others. I couldn't imagine myself being this happy in any other line of work.
