Looking for music instruction? Michael Metts is taking on new students for Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar, and Ukulele. He has over 20 years of teaching experience in Franklin. His skill set comes from his background working as a professional musician, starting in L.A., since the '90's.
His extensive work experience has equipped him to handle most all genres, and his knowledge of theory is backed by over 20 years of musical improvisation; both lead/solo work, and playing in key without music sheets in the live band environment. He will accept students of all ages and work with any genre. He takes an individual approach to each student in accommodation of their learning ability and musical objectives/preferences. His goal is to provide a productive and fun environment, especially for children. If you home school he has handled students from IDEA and PACE and is qualified to instruct advanced music theory. He teaches from the Alfred Method, and some chops books, with supplemental, individually tailored material and awards letter grades.
