They backed out. Asked for a registration fee after the fact. An example of what not to do if you're growing a business.

My staff is equipped with University of Memphis students and , SCS music majors. Some of them are receiving their Master's and education in specific instruments and arts. I have been a church and school musician for over 20 years. I' ve also been trained through Jackson Studios of Memphis,  Amro, and local ministries.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My standard pricing is $25 for a thirty minute private lesson at one of our Studios. I do have a 15 lesson package deal for $300.00. With the package deal you will be able to use the lessons until they run out.

How did you get started teaching?

We start each lesson with a recap of the previous lesson. Secondly, we teach music theroy, then proceed to hand-on methods. For small children , we do free-play and music coloring sheets in addition to hand-on methods.

What types of students have you worked with?

I've worked with children , adults, teenagers, some special need students, preschoolers, and ederly. We also work with students with different ethnicities.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I really enjoy out Fall, Summer , and Spring Music recitals. I love to see all of Strive School of Music's student progress musicially.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I will suggest that the instructor is knowledable of every area of music . I suggest the instructor should be able to read music and inspire each student to strive for excellence.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What type of music do I want to produce?

What is my long term goal for music lessons?

Do I want to play for the public or private audiences?
