As you know, the first step to a great learning experience is finding a great teacher. These are the people in our lives that we will always remember because they could bring their subject matter to life in a way that would make it easy to understand and a joy to learn.

I am a pianist today because my first teacher was one of those people. He knew how to work with me, coach me, set my technique properly and keep me interested in the music. He cared about his craft and his art. And because he cared, I cared. And I still do!
