Melissa Ashley Studios - Voice And Piano Lessons

Melissa teaches students not only how to make music but to love music. She has been teaching private music lessons for over a decade. Melissa teaches piano, voice, guitar, and Kindermusik to people of all ages and ability levels, from toddlers to adults. Students will learn music theory, technique, performance, memorization, and will get the opportunity to perform in recitals, audition for musicals, and compete in high-level competitions. Her students have gone on to study music in college, be cast in lead roles in musicals, lead worship at churches, and even be chosen to perform on Broadway in Music Theatre International productions. Her students have been chosen for Honors Choirs, All-State Choirs, and have performed all over the country. Melissa has a Bachelor of Music and a Master's of Education in Vocal Music from Vanderbilt University.

My favorite part of my job is helping students gain confidence in their singing and piano playing. I see students go from timid musicians to confident performers.
