About
I love playing for artists on big stages. I was recently spotted playing for Brother Joe and Āelle by Garth Brooks! He gave us a huge shout out on Studio G.
I love showing students how to perform and really express the music with feeling.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask them why they want to play piano and get to know them a bit. I'll do a quick survey on what they know and what they want to learn. I show them how a piano works, the patterns of the keys, and play a song with them to get them excited about playing!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied piano and voice at Marian College and also took private piano lessons for four years.
I have a Master’s in Education and studied to be an elementary teacher.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$30.00/30 minutes at my house or virtual
Additional $5.00 added for me to travel to you
Optional: Add fifteen minutes to your lesson to learn Logic Pro recording studio software (only available in studio) Cost: $15.00
How did you get started teaching?
I love playing piano and I am a good teacher! My mom taught and I found out that I was pretty good at it too!
What types of students have you worked with?
Adults age 20 and up
children age 4 and up
They have had zero experience all the way up to advanced.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have a student with a learning disability and he read two pieces of music flawlessly in tempo! I was so proud of him and he was too!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Choose a teacher who has a great personality and is inspiring for you. Give them a try first.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask yourself:
Why do I want to learn piano?
What is the best way that I could learn piano? (in-person lessons or virtually)
How much time in a week could I dedicate to practicing?
How do you picture yourself playing piano? (Rehearsed and ready for an audience? Or casually reading a song for family and friends?)
Do I need a patient teacher or one that is strict and to the point?
