Continuous Student Support

When I take on a new student I create a custom lesson plan tailored to you and your needs using a methodology I’ve developed over the years. Not only that, but I offer so much more outside of the lesson itself! Here’s some of what I have to offer:

Sadly I still hear stories of guitarists being frustrated with progress or feeling discouraged to continue. Whether you’re just starting out, or you’re looking to break that plateau I am here to help!

HOW TO GET STARTED:

Shoot me a message and we’ll set up a time to talk about your goals and answer any questions you have. Generally a 10m conversation helps us figure out the best steps to take! I’m quick to respond and I’m generally available to talk!

I look forward to hearing from you!

Brett and his team are highly knowledgeable. They helped me better understand my guitar and the theory behind playing.

    Frequently asked questions

Everyone is in a different place on their journey. I start by figuring out exactly where that is and where the student wants to go. With a goal in mind, we can take the proper steps without guessing or wasting time on irrelevant topics.

I've played music my entire life. I have education in music theory and multiple styles. On top of this, I have also been playing live shows on a regular basis for quite a while, so I have plenty of real world experience.

I consult with all potential clients and my rates vary depending on the availability and time length. Please call (865)-361-5677 if interested and I'll be happy to recommend the best course of action.

Over the years I had a few people ask if I could show them a thing or two about music and that's when I realized I love teaching. I've been teaching privately ever since. I love teaching music theory as well as the instrument.

All ages and all skill levels. I can take you from the groud up, or if you're looking for more advanced training I can also coach you through those steps.

As a musician, I spend most of my time either coaching, practicing, or playing live shows! Coaching is a very rewarding challenge and it never fails to keep me on my toes. Currently I've been working with a country band and a rock band for some diversity and maximum fun. If my hands aren't on the guitar, then I'm probably spending time with my family or on some adventure when I can spare the time!

Make sure the teacher fits the student, and vice versa. Everyone learns in different ways, and teachers teach in different ways. It's important to find the right match up for a positive experience. This is why I always prefer a short consultation if interested to make sure it'll be a good for both of us. (865)-361-5677

A student should always know that a teacher is not to judge, but to help and better you. I find that most new students are shy or insecure about their progress/skill level. When you're with me, I make sure you find comfort in the session and you know my job is to help you improve.
