I focus on song writing/guitar playing in a holistic way, so to speak and allow individuals/artists to delve into the more complex areas, such as Music Theory, when they are ready--- We each have our own song deep inside of us and it's a very personal, revealing, and beautiful journey when we embark on a path to self discovery!! I am merely guide who shares my own experience and the wisdom passed down to me by some great melody makers!!
I could say EVERYTHING and it would hold true, however, there is definitely something extra special about watching a human being find their song and utilize an awesome tool like the Guitar to really fine tune their soul!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When meeting an artist/student for the first time, I like to begin a dialogue centered around what Music really means to the "eager musician inside"---- the answers are always unique, but there is a commanilaty that is shared between those who just Love music, because, well, it's Music! However, the Guitar, specifically, holds a special place among instruments and when we dive into the mystic history of this amazing soundmaker, students begin to blossom and their own song soon starts to emanate from their chosen instrument.

I have been playing Guitar and writing songs for 15 years.
