I love making music! I studied piano (mostly clasical, ragtime, etc.) for 15 years; flute for 10 years; I taught myself guitar; and eventually, I became a performing and published singer/songwriter, as well as a school teacher.

I am easy-going, creative, patient, and enjoy making learning a collaboration between the student & teacher. I enjoy discovering, with each student, the best approach/learning style for that individual, as well as what works best in our dynamic as student/teacher.

To me, teaching is not unidirectional: I learn from my students in the course of sharing my passion for music with them. Let's see if we can work together!
