About
Begin your legacy, that is the mindset I instill in every student. Whatever the musical journey, I encourage students to think foward and never stop improving. At BKSGUITARS, every student will get a tailored approach to their needs and goals by providing them the tools and insight required in developing their guitar and musical skills.
23 years ago I convinced my father to purchase my first guitar and I haven't looked back yet. I personally can't imagine my life without music in general. Along with my growth with guitar I expanded my musical knowledge through school. I journeyed through school playing the trombone and guitar through middle and high school. Getting to play with the John Overton marching band, Middle TN state bands, Jazz, and Wind Ensembles. I also auditioned and held assistant principle position with the Nashville Youith Symphony. At MTSU I studied music theory, recording industry management, guitar performance and was in and out of the studios of MTSU playing guitar. I want to take my years of music and guitar knowledge and pass it on to the next generation of students.
