My name is Andre LeBoulluec, I have performed all over the world in many different genres and am an in demand studio guitarist and film composer in Los Angeles. I have a bachelors in Jazz Studies from the University of Southern California. I am in DFW for the next year or so due to coronavirus and am teaching exclusively online. I teach Jazz, Rock, Blues, Funk, Pop, Country, Acoustic, Neosoul, R&B, and music theory. I have been playing guitar for 14 years and have 3 years of teaching experience.
I love getting to know other musicians and developing them into great players. I like passing on the knowledge I have and bringing joy to others through their improvement and passion for music.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Assess their playing ability and give them exercises to target specific weaknesses. Teach students songs that they want to learn as well as those to make them better. Give loads of listening in genres they like as well as others and recommend guitatists to check out.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Get the teacher who will teach the fundamentals such as ear training, technique, and critical listening. Then move on to adding nuance, style, and detail to the students' playing.
