Steve Irwin Guitar Lessons

My teaching approach: I have been playing guitar for 40 plus years. I am a self taught player and have many years experience performing in local area bands. In the 80’s and 90’s I was the cofounder and guitarist in a popular local band for approx. ten years playing blues, and classic rock. I have several years experience in recording both live and in the studio. I also have experience in running live sound for local bands. I am currently working with a Praise band in a large local church. My early influences were The Ventures, The Beatles, Travis Womack, Don Rich, SRV, and the late night tunes on Wolf Man Jack‘s radio program out of Del Rio Texas. I retired from my real job a couple of years ago and I am now teaching beginning guitar to students of all ages. I teach with a focus on getting you to play, enjoying to play, and learning your favorite songs. My lessons are TAB based so you will become familiar with that process as well. I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge with others. My guitar lessons take place in: Either location Guitar Lessons with me take place in the following areas: I teach out of my home studio in Arlington Tx. I also teach in students home depending on location. Guitar Techniques: Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Fingerpicking, Performance, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises
