About
Since 2011, the Euphonious Academy of Music has operated as a mobile music education service. Our experienced teaching artists will deliver the highest quality of music instruction to you or a loved one online or in the privacy and comfort of your home.
The Euphonious Academy of Music offers a high-quality arts educational program for all ages that develop the whole person through a curriculum that integrate the performing arts and academics.
What I enjoy about the work I do is that everyone has the same goals, expectations, and vision to develop our students academically, artistically, socially, and musically so that they leave with an independent, cooperative, responsible and creative mentality, and a lifelong interest and ability in learning and the performing arts. We believe that these skills and qualities will prepare our students to pursue further educational goals and allow them to contribute to the life and well-being of society.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The typical process for working with a student is to first make sure the environment is safe, then start off with a warm-up specific to the services they're receiving, briefly review what was taught in the previous lesson to see how much was retained, and then be introduced to the lesson for that day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Eleven (11) years of receiving rigorous private music lessons, nine (9) years of teaching Music Education in public and private schools, a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, and a Professional Diploma in Voice Technique and Musicianship from Berklee College of Music.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The prices are standard and the most affordable in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Voucher's, payment arrangements, and discounts are also available to clients that qualify.
All payments are processed online through our partners at Square, PayPal, and Venmo. Cash, Credit/Debit Cards, and checks are also accepted for your convenience.
How did you get started teaching?
My teaching career began at Saint Peter's Catholic School in Pine Bluff Arkansas in 2010. Teaching private and group music lessons was an additional after school program implemented to meet the needs of the students who required additional instruction, and to enhance their musicality through a more rigorous curriculum.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students from all backgrounds. Being a Music Educator, I cherish the opportunity to teach any person regardless of age, sex, nationality, ethnic origin, or religion.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Any event involving Music Education, teaching and learning, or just the opportunity to fellowship is an event I'm quite fond of!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The advice that I would give a student looking to hire a teacher in my area of expertise is to hire a teacher that see's you as a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It should be their desire as an educator to help you meet your fullest potential in those areas by providing that environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Simple.
1. Is this a discipline I'm serious about committing to?
2. Will the instructor allow my natural curiosity to direct my learning?
3. How is "this" going to help me academically?
4. What is the goal, objective, and real-time results?
