Violinist Ann Cho holds a bachelor’s degree from The Juilliard School as a recipient of the Dorothy DeLay Scholarship and a master’s degree from Yale University, where she was awarded the Alumni Association Prize upon graduation.
Ms. Cho has experience teaching all levels and backgrounds, from K-12 to graduate students. As a Morse Teaching Artist Fellow at the Juilliard School, she implemented year-round curriculum that included music theory, history, sight reading, and instrumental proficiency and which culminated in biannual recitals. Ms. Cho was also a Teaching Artist for the Music Advancement Program at Juilliard, a Music In Schools Teaching Artist and a Secondary Lessons instructor at Yale.
Ms. Cho was recently a fellow at the New World Symphony, and regularly performs with the San Diego Symphony, New Haven Symphony, Princeton Symphony, and the New York Classical Players. She has performed internationally and across the United States in venues such as Carnegie Hall, David Geffen, Alice Tully, Benaroya Hall, Meyerson Center, Sarasota Opera House and Seiji Ozawa Hall. Festival appearances include IMS Prussia Cove Mastercourses, Tanglewood Music Center, Kneisel Hall, Music Academy of the West, Aspen Music Festival and School and the Sarasota Music Festival. Additionally, Ms. Cho has been invited as soloist with the Austin Symphony and Austin Civic Orchestra, and has been heard on WQXR and KMFA Classical radio stations.
