About
I have been a violinist for a little over 20 years and have been involved in classical orchestras for most of my life. Having also played piano and trumpet throughout my youth, music became a constant presence. My experiences ultimately led to my earning a Music Industry Studies degree at California State University, Northridge. Before moving to Austin, I taught violin and theory privately for about 6 years and thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and rewards each student brought with their learning and growth as musicians. In addition to personalizing my lessons with each student based on their learning needs and desires, I use the Wolfhart and Suzuki study books for practical etudes and exercises, in addition to the Sevcik bowing technique books.
