I love sharing my passion for music with my students and helping them achieve their potential by learning to read and interpret music. I have been teaching piano lessons in The Woodlands since 1988. I have a Bachelor Degree in Music from Houston Baptist University. I am NCTM, a nationally certified teacher of music. I am a Master Teacher with Kindermusik and Level III certifies with Early Childhood Music & Movement Association. I am President of Conroe Music Teachers Association. I am Vice President of The Woodlands Harmony Club, an affiliate of NFMC. I offer many performance venues for my students as they learn to share their music with others.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
A student's first teacher should be the best teacher as habits are formed early. Interview with a teacher and find one you feel comfortable with and who is qualified.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How much am I expected to practice? Do I need a piano or is a keyboard okay? What methods do you use? What are your qualifications and experience? What activities do you provide for your students? How much do you charge? Am I expected to take lessons in the summer?
