Joyfull Sounds String Studio
About
Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. I am a trained Suzuki instructor and have 25 yrs of violin training and experience. While studying under Professors from both Del Mar college and TAMUCC, I soaked up as much as possible. I am thoroughly observant and adjust according to different learning styles. That, and my enthusiastic drive, set me apart from other teachers.
I began playing violin at the age of 9 years old. I was so enamored with the violin. I never wanted to stop learning, playing, and then I became a music educator, which is extremely rewarding! I have been teaching for 8 years now, as a private instructor from home, and working at Musicians Academy as well. I have attended Suzuki teacher training in Dallas, and that is the main method I use to establish my student's musical foundation. I will, however, refer to other methods as well, along with my experience and resources. Every lesson is customized to that individual. What I've learned from teaching is there are so many different types of learners so I must be flexible and intuitive while teaching so that I can help them understand according to their learning style.
I enjoy the personalization of each lesson. Prescribing just the right formula of exercises that allows each student to thrive and never plateau.
